The hotel is situated on the Grand Canal next to the Rialto Bridge. There are vaporetto, water taxi and gondola stations on the property’s doorstep.

The Rialto Hotel’s reception and lobby are spacious, with seating areas provided. The décor is quite traditional with marble floors and Venetian glass lighting fixtures, though a little modernisation was done some time ago. An Internet portal is situated in the lobby for guests’ use. There are 80 guestrooms in this heritage building, all of which vary in size. Some feature original low beamed ceilings with ornate painted decoration, giving a true feeling of Venice. The standard doubles are cosy, with, once again, very traditional Venetian-style décor and furnishings. A small number of the rooms overlook the bustling canal below. Each room is equipped with a safe, mini bar, TV, phone and air conditioning. They also have en suite bathrooms which are completely tiled and of reasonable size. There is one room adapted for disabled access, along with options for quad or triple occupancy rooms, ideal for those travelling with children (approximately six can be adapted for this purpose.) There is a limited number of interconnecting rooms also available. The hotel has a roof terrace overlooking the canal, ideal for summer time for drinks and relaxing, though it is generally closed during winter months, as one would expect. The hotel has a traditional style bar and restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. There is also a terrace at the canal side, again for summer use.
