We had a good experience at this hotel although there have been mixed reviews. Our room was very small but beautifully decorated with lovely views. It was in a different building to main hotel. Breakfast was basic but perfectly nice. We found staff very helpful with good English. Location is brilliant. I would stay there again.

We made the mistake of sitting down for a coffee in a little bar one night after dinner. We paid 16.40 euro for 2 cappuccino . Only after did we see their price list in an obscure place, 5 euro surcharge per person for sitting!!!

Air conditioning in Venice does not get switched on until late April, early May. If you have your window open at night to let the heat out it can be quite noisy with passing people talking loudly until the early hours. We had very poor sleep as a result!!

The allocated room was extremely small, but described by the receptionist as 'comfortable'. We asked for an upgrade the second night. Although this was not possible due to lack of rooms, we were taken to their sister hotel and upgraded in a very gracious manner. If booking here, ensure you specify a superior room at time of booking.

Comment
The hotel itself was very good with high standards and excellent breakfast. However, there was some misrepresentation as the room allocated to us was in a separate building and of barely a 2 star standard. It was a very basic apartment. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade; unfortunately, it was at our expense. This has obviously coloured our impression of your website and as we are regular visitors to Venice this is sad for us both.
