The Danieli Hotel is synonymous with the splendour and romance of Venice. It is housed in a 15th century palazzo called the Casa Nuova. A Venetian gothic landmark, lavishly appointed with pink marble, stained glass, ceilings decorated with golden leaves and Murano glass chandeliers, it is connected to a more modern building called the Danielino. The spacious lobby features a small polished wood reception desk. At the left side there are marble columns and at the right there is a red carpeted stairway leading to the upper floors. The guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the main building. They feature parquet floors, red carpets and antique wooden furniture. The bathrooms are decorated in Lagoon green, Portuguese pink and French red marble. The hotel also offers "La Terrazza", a charming rooftop restaurant which serves delectable Mediterranean and regional cuisine, complemented by the captivating panoramas of the Grand Canal and the Lido and Adriatic Sea. Appetizers and drinks can also be enjoyed at the Bar Dandolo piano bar.
