Perfect location. Quiet yet near all the main sights. Loved the internal patio and the complimentary tea and biscuits were most welcome. The breakfast however could have had much more variety. The coffee was terrible ! ! ! All in all good value for the price.

Friendly staff, good clean hotel. no problem and great for the price. Dont use the ajoining reataurant. Can recommend this hotel as good value, nice lounge, staff, mini bar and all you want for a good budget hotel. Dont use ajoining restaurant, it was the most expensive meal I had and the worst food.
Top Tip
Eat over the Rialto bridge..

Hotel was great, the staff fantastic and the location perfect. Only mild drawback was that our room was very cramped, not all rooms seemed small it was just the luck of the draw, but for the price I would have prefered a larger room.
Top Tip
Went to two fantastic restauraunts of the beaten track that were cheaper and the food better than those near the grand canal. The jewish quarter is worth a visit as it is quieter at night

Good location as Grande Canale and Fond. Nuove both in easy walking distance. Stayed there 31 years ago since when it has been refurbished. Thankfully it has retained its lovely traditional decor and character.Staff very pleasant and helpful. Complementary iced lemon tea in the afternoon an added bonus.
Top Tip
Find an osteria or ristorante away from Rialto for better value. Giorgione's adjacent Osteria is excellent(pay separately). Water bus from Fond. Nuove to the air port is the cheapest transfer and only takes 40 mins. Nice restaurant(just over the bridge form the pick up point) if you have time before you go. If you like peach juice and champers try a bellini (6 euros).

Great hotel, in an excellent location, very helpful staff and great little breakfast room.
Top Tip
Definitely make your way across to the bell tower opposite san marco to get an excellent view of the waterways. It is also empty in the mornings!

Very nice location - walking distance to so many places, and easy to find (see tips). Staff were uniformly helpful and polite. We had one of the smaller rooms 224 - but it was fine. Crisp linen every day and room tidying/check twice daily. Breakfasts are great and the dining areas lovely.
Top Tip
Airport transport can be expensive, so I would recommend the Aililaguna blue line waterbus at 12 Euros, get off at Fond. Nove (second stop)an easy 8 minute walk past the front door of the Gesuiti church then follow signs for Apostoli. Look out for the big G sign on the corner of the hotel before you reach the Apostoli church square. Return can be be by land bus for just 2 euros, from Piazza Roma (take a vaporetta from Ca'd'oro stop - 4 mins walk). Do buy a 1, 2 or 3 day pass for the vaporettas - available from the ticket booths at most stops. The budget restaurants are much of a muchness - but try the Casa Mia for more homely fare (head towards Santi Apostli, take first lane on the right). If Venice is too crowded, spend a half day on Murano. Eat at the very good value and homely restaurant almost opposite the San Pietro church, on the bend of the narrow canal on Fondamenta Mannini.
