The elegant Manin Hotel is housed in an ancient palazzo, built on the site of one of Venice's opera houses, the Teatro Sant'Angelo, which first opened in 1676. The property has been carefully restored and brought back to its former glory, paying particular attention to comfort and atmosphere. The medium sized lobby is decorated in a minimalist style, enriched by potted plants and big vases of fresh flowers. The 44 guestrooms vary in size and are elegantly decorated in a sober, traditional style, using a soft cream colour scheme. Both rooms and bathrooms are kept in good condition and equipped with all modern amenities. There is also a luminous and elegantly decorated breakfast room on the ground floor, overlooking a garden, which is quite unusual for a Venetian hotel. Breakfast can be taken in the garden itself during fine weather. Access to the hotel is also available from its private landing stage on the Grand Canal, close to the S. Angelo water bus station.
