The hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the Rialto bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we thought the recent Greek strike was going to affect our onward ferry to Corfu. They checked it out for us and reassured us that the ferry would be sailing. The rooms are all furnished differently. Ours had material wallpaper!
Top Tip
The weather was very wet when we were there so we took advantage or our hotel's canalside loation, bought a bottle of wine and spent a good two hours watching life go by! We took the water taxi directly from Marco Polo airport which was a fantastic and was very reasonable.

Location superb. Bathrooms a little pokey and tired. Breakfast choices a little limited.
Top Tip
head off down the small alley immediately to the left of the hotel. Follow the signs towards 'St. Marco per' and you'll encounter a host of restaurants on the journey. To return look for the 'Rialto per' signs. There are at least 6 alternate routes through the labyrinth.

This hotel couldn't be better situated - it is right next to the Rialto Bridge in the heart of Venice - the room was small and had a view of a wall but we paid for the location really so weren't disappointed. There is also a roof terrace that you can take your own wine onto which overlooks the Grande Canal which was nice. Free outward taxi to Murano is available to see the Glass factory which was really enjoyable.
Top Tip
EVERYTHING is expensive! Take more Euros than you think you'll need - we had trouble using credit cards - they seem to prefer cash.

nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a problem with mosquitoes biting which was unusual for march. As soon as they knew they sprayed the room for us.
Top Tip
The position is perfect to walk everywhere 10min to St Marks square, 5min to Rialto markets anywhere you go all leads back to the hotel so do not be afraid to explore. Restaurants across the bridge were good as was Harry's bar-to the north west of St Marks.
